1 Ripe Banana (mashed)
1 1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup Shredded Coconut
1/2 cup raisins or other dried fruit of your choice (I used a mixed berry variety)
1/2 cup Vegan Carob Chips (if you’re not vegan, use regular chocolate chips)
1/2 cup Maple Syrup (or agave nectar)
1/2 cup Nut Butter of choice (I used the Archer Farms Natural Peanut Butter with flaxseed -yum!)
2 to 4 scoops of Protein Powder (I used 3 cups of unflavored Raw Protein- vegan of course!)
2 tablespoons flax seeds
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1.5 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix all the ingredients together (don’t be afraid to get messy!), lay saran wrap down on a baking dish or cookie sheet with edges to make clean-up easy, press mixture in cookie sheet or baking dish evenly and place in freezer until it hardens (about 2 hours or so). Remove from freezer, flip upside down onto a cutting board, remove saran wrap and cut into squares. Wrap each individually and put back in freezer or refrigerator. These will come to room temperature quickly.
My mixture made 15 bars as cut.
